Dos the differance in the hed size in Taylor Made 425cc compared to 460cc realy matter?

I am looking for a new driver and wonder wich one is for me - I have 17 handicap.

Try both of them before you buy them You may benefit from the smaller head.

I benefit from the 460cc because it gives me more play room when I miss the sweet spot.

Theoretically, yes. A larger head will offer a larger "sweet spot", which means that you'll get more distance on off-center hits.

Go for the bigger one, get as much help as you can, the 460 will just make miss hits better,

I would go with the 460cc with your handicap.  the 425 is a better club if you shape your shots a lot.   but the 460 will be more forgiving and have a bigger sweet spot.
