Dose a cooler cpu run faster than a hotter one?

ive seen videos on youtube saying that putting liquid nitrogen on it so it cools will make it run faster, is this true?

  1. Practically, no, it's just that your cpu can't run at it's optimum if it isn't cooled properly because of built in protection mechanisms.  So if your cpu is already running as fast as it can, putting in a better cooling system isn't going to make it go any faster.


  2. Those go way faster as they overclock and over  volt the processor. Some over 5 Ghz. The liquid nitrogen keeps the processor from burning up .  Good luck

  3. Overclocking your processor will speed it up, but you need an aftermarket cooler if you want to overclock very much without making your processor unstable.
