Dose a male hamster and a female hamster work together

i was thanking of buying my hamster a girl hamster so that he has a gf and make little hamsters

Do not do this!  Breeding should only be done by responsible breeders who know what they are doing.  Hamsters can have many, many babies, and it is irresponsible to breed unless you know what you're doing and have homes in line for these multitude of hamsters.  There are already way more hamsters than homes, you do not need to add to this problem.  Even if you were going to take care of all the baby hamsters as well, the sisters and brothers would start breeding and you will soon be drowning in hamsters.

If you really want a pair of hamsters, get two girls or two boys.

Please don't just have babies because it seems cute....

Well they should be fine if you don'tt mind looking after the babys just introduce them gradually and keep an eye on them if they dont get on too  wellseperate them when your not around.

But they should get on fine and your male will be delighted to have a companion.
