Dose any one know a good Lawyer that does adoption

My ex husband had his new wife adopt our daughter and I just found out about a month ago and know I am trying to get her back. I have tried to talk to him over the years and he new how to find me I really just need help.

You need to find a lawyer in your local area, I don't know where you live. I guess just look some up and maybe check with the Bar Association or people you know and see if the person you find has a good reputation. I am not sure if you need an adoption attorney specifically or if a family law practice would know enough about that to help you? Maybe call a couple practices and ask, I think there are more family law attorneys than adoption ones.

I don't know a ton about adoption by step parents but there is a chance that this was legal? Sometimes if a parent isn't in contact with the kid, doesn't pay child support, etc their rights can be terminated by a judge. I thought they needed to serve you with papers at least for that so I'm not sure? Anyway, the lawyer will know. If your ex lives out of state talk to a local attorney first and if you need a different one they should be able to help you find one in your ex's area. Good luck:)

How could the new wife adopt your child without your consent? Obviously your husband had ex had custody of the child, were your rights terminated?

Get a lawyer.

Based on your other post I wouldn't recommend an attorney. Obviously your the a-mom preying on info because of your insecurities.
