  1. google natve plants and the state you live in.  You are sure to find something.

did someone eat a bad leaf?  is it that kind of emergency?

  2. Native to where?  All plants are native where they come from, but you didn't specify where you are, so something native in my area might not be in yours.

If you're in the US, try these websites:

http://plants.usda.gov/checklist.html - choose your stae or territory, then you can look at each plant individually (most will have several pictures for eash species).  Then, in the species page you will get by clicking on the plant name, it will tell you "Native Status" beside the main photo.  Look for a plant that has "L48 N", which means it's a native to the 48 states that are connected.

http://www.enature.com/home/ - enter your zip code, and on the page you get when you click enter, change the results box to trees or wildflowers - it will tell you just about the plants in your area.

NOTE:  If this is an emergency where someone ate a plant part, take it and the person to an emergency room or call a poison hotline rather than take the time to look through a lot of photos online!

If you need the identity of the plant an no one can help you, try posting a digital photo (need to go through a photo-sharing website like photobucket to do this).
