Dose anyone now of a good place to adopt a horse

I have answered this type of question before...Petfinder is a good idea, but killer buyers don't advertise there...if you want to kill two birds with one stone, contact some local killer buyers and see what they have.  They would rather sell to you for a fraction over what they will be getting at the kill plant, plus they don't have to transport them and truthfully, they care if a GOOD horse has to go to slaughter, believe it or not.  Contact your local horse sales and see if you can get some names and numbers and followup on them.

I would try looking at petfinder.com. You can put in your zip code and it'll tell you what animals are available in your area.

dont get one from a sale because uless its a man how is retiring and selling his horse if you get one from there ride it first but if you can get one from a horse dealer like he foals them and they are raised on a farm those are good or just from somone selling a horse
