Dose microsoft works have a word type feature and if so can i trasnfer it to word later?

Just something for me to take notes with in school on my laptop and transfer them to desktop and Microsoft word later.

  1. yes you can do it. open your works help and search for word type.


  2. Microsoft Works does have a word processor for you to use to take notes.  The files can be opened in some versions of Microsoft Word, not by double-clicking buy by File,Open (unless you set up the file association).

    Before you get too far along, use the Works word processory and then see if you can open the file in Word.
