how much progesterone cream should I use in the first weeks of conception, if I conceived at all, to assure progesterone levels are increasing appropriately until testing for pregnancy and seeing the doctor

I was using 20mg twice daily (natural progesterone USP) but remember that you run the risk of more extreme side effects if you use the cream. My doctor suggested the suppositories instead. They're way easier on your system, especially emotionally. Finally, you MUST confirm ovulation before using the cream, otherwise you can mess up your entire cycle. Most people I know start their progesterone at 3dpo.
