i think it does indirectly. people are going to subconsciously react to people depending on their names, to some degree. thats why its so hard for my boyfriend and i to decide on a name for our baby, whenever we think of a name ONE of us has known someone that has shaped our first impression of a name. based on how people tend to react to your name or what they expect you to be like based on your name it could mold your personality, but imo only slightly. i think the bigger issue is definitely just how people react to your name and not necessarily that it shapes ones personality.

I dont think it does because I have some friends who have the same name and are total oppisites.

I believe ethnic names can have effects on how other people will see you, and if you notice it, it may change your perception of the world a little bit and possibly your personality.
