  1. It's true. The taller someone is, the harder it is to keep your balance on the board. A shorter person has a lower center of gravity (physics!). The closer the weight is to the board, the better.

The more you practice, the less it will matter, though.

  2. 2008 for smackdown raw ecw and tna

  3. The key is in your practice, no matter how high you are.

    Keep surfing!!!

  4. I always find taller surfers to look more graceful, but shorter surfers can pull snap turns faster. Isn't Andy Irons over 6'2?

  5. I'm kind of short (5'10") but I have surfed with lots of real tall guys, who were way better than me. I guess a lower center of gravity has some advantages, but a long flexible frame must come in very handy also. I would say, "NO".

  6. In a way because I would think that you have more balance control but in another way your still doing the same manuvers and it still takes the same amount of effort

  7. yeah, that's true, but recently a couple of bigger guys have cracked the top 44. The bigger ones have an advantage in power.

  8. It's true.  The taller someone is, the harder it is to keep your balance on the board.  The closer the weight is to the board, the better.

  9. The sorter you are the lower your centre of gravity, Therfore is should be easier. But this only applies when first starting out on a board. After 4 or 5 waves of standind and falling off your body will adjust and it then depends on natural ability. I have no natural ability. I have been surfing seriously for over 30 years and im still c**p. Well I think so. But its all about having fun in the end.
