Dotty Mosca and Rock It Peggy joint favourites for Maxi Pants Memorial Trophy
Dotty Mosca and Rock It Peggy are joint favourites for Maxi Pants Memorial Trophy at Hall Green in England on Friday, March 30, 2012. The triumphant hound will be awarded with a cash prize of £122.
A total of six quality runners will be seen in action and their names are: Dotty Mosca, Rock It Peggy, Fourboys Fantasy, Jobys Premier, Dainty Billy and Caribbean Jazz. The 480 metres flat race will start at 21:20 GMT.
Although the bookies have given equally good odds to Dotty Mosca and Rock It Peggy, the former of the two appears to be in better rhythm at the moment. She has been performing really well over the past few months, thus the punters will also be risking a
lot of money in her favour.
G. Ballentine’s trainee won her most recent race at Hall Green by a neck distance. She was rated favourite for that event, but was unable to complete dominate the proceedings, as the runner up hound gave her a tough time.
In her previous five outings, Dotty Mosca has never finished out of top two, thus she is in great flow right now and it will be hard to beat her in the race today.
The fawn b***h is the daughter of Westmead Joe out of Cabra Fly and was born in March 2010.
On the other hand, Rock It Peggy has also been performing consistently over the past few races. She has only managed to win a single race in her previous five appearances, but it does not mean that she will be unable to deliver a solid result today.
P. Sallis’ trained runner has mostly been running in this class, which will work in her favour. The bettors would have noticed this and will be interested in placing some bets on Rock It Peggy.
The seasoned b***h is the daughter of Droopys Maldini out of Farloe Fixture and was born in October 2009.
Other than the joint favourite hounds, Fourboys Fantasy will also be the one to watch out for. She was unable to make an impression in her most recent outing, which shows that her form is not good at the moment.
The real battle will be amongst Dotty Mosca and Rock It Peggy, as they are in great shape right now.
