I gave you a thumbs up Irvin as I agree with this statement of yours, but you might need to do a little more research on the FDA as a lot of the time they are drug pushers in my opinion.

  1. I believe they both have their place. You can use herbal remedy's to cure just about anything, but doctors can tell you exactly what is wrong with your body. Most common ailments can be relived with herbs but sometimes, when your life is in danger a doctor can save you. My son has been to a doctor once in his entire four years and he hardly ever gets sick. And if he gets a little cold you can be sure I'm not running to a doctor, but if it becomes an emergency situation I would not hesitate to take him in. Same with myself. There is a place for both in my life, but to me a doctor is a last result. Hope that helped!

  2. Neither I use the Australian Bush Flower Essences system and it not a drug based system both herbal and doctors tend to suppress symptoms.

There are other energy system out there but the easiest to use is the Australian Bush Flower Essences system.

  3. doctors are out there to help and their knowledge is what they have to give

herbs are out there to be used if you know how (people that used them in the past can tell you how )

and believing belongs to the church,

the art of healing has to be disconnected from the domain of the beliefs it has to work facts not miracles.

the healing part of believing is a share of the total health

  4. I prefer a doctor who 'believes in' (knows how to use) herbs. ;)  I think a Dr. that believes in herbs has more of a whole perspective on helping you to get and stay healthy.  And if something really serious happens, they can also use modern medical technology if needed.

So my first line of defense for boo-boos and common acute illnesses is my own herb garden.  I also have a Doc who is an herbalist and an M.D., so she's my second line of defense for anything that goes outside of my knowlege base.

  5. I believe they both are the same, herbal remedies are mostly old remedies discovered by people which later proved to be working, and the medicine given by doctors are the same as the herbal plants extracted chemically in labs, they both do the same work, although i believe in some case one or another may work better, it depends on the case. sometimes meds may have bad side effects and maybe sometimes herbals can have bad side effects too, although i think the side effects of meds are worse. check these out :
