  1. Wow!

All those apartments look absolutely gorgeous and they are all superbly well equipped and ideally located too, I see!

One of them even offers a view of Jacques-Cartier Bridge - can you believe this?

Maybe you should go for the one on Letourneux Street instead of the one on Saint-Christophe Street, why not?

Slightly cheaper - did you notice?

Good luck finding the right accommodation and have a great time in Montreal!

  2. I think it's a bit pricey just for 1 week. You're better off subletting an apartment for the summer either in the McGill ghetto (downtown core), which you may find good deals from those McGill students who leave for the summer.  However, if you want some place really nice and close to tourist sites, I looked at this ad on kijiji and the apt. is in Old Montreal. Great place! click on link below:

Your best option (and way cheaper than the address you are asking about) is this ad I looked up for you, once again on kijiji. Click on the link below:

I'd stay there if I were a tourist. A tad out of the way, but still in the city area. Taking the bus and metro makes it even more interesting to explore my city. Let me know what you think. If not, I could look out for more.

  3. It's not very close to any major attractions except maybe the g*y Village

  4. In the summer, nearby St. Denis Street gets a lot of traffic from the Juste Pour Rire comedy festival, so you should expect a lot of people if you will be there in July or August.

It also seems very expensive for an apartment for two people, but if you are only going to rent for a short term (like the summer) then you probably will not get a better deal.

You could rent an apartment for a year in other areas and it would be less expensive. Verdun is less expensive, has Metro subway stops neraby, and is not a dangerous area. You may want to look there.

  5. It is not bad but not amazing. It is probably the best you'll get for that price though.  It is actually very good I'm just really lazy and need to be right in the core.

You are about 3-4 km outside the core which isn't too bad. You are right on Sherbrook and a block from St Denis. Two major streets. I don't know the public transportation system well but I do know there is a subway stop at Sherbrook and St Denis so you are 5 minutes walk from the subway.
