Double ELECT.OVEN TOP WONT HEAT UP.. BUT HAS POWER, ANY IDEAS?

WE HAVE A DOUBLE MODERN MAID/AMANA ELEC OVEN AND THE TOP WILL NOT HEAT UP...BROIL OR OTHER ELEMENT...ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO REPAIR OR GET INTO THE CONTROLS TO LOOK...PLEASE HELP

  1. Check the fuses in the unit itself.

    Sorry, can't tell you where to look.


  2. your oven's heating element may be burned out - pull it out and get a new one at Lowe's, Home Depot, Sears . . .
