  1. Could be a mint error...those do happen frequently, and occasionally one will slip through the inspectors and make it out into circulation.

It could also be a "novelty" coin...I've seen several pennies modified to have either two heads or two tails.  (I guess they use pennies because they're cheap...)

Not sure I understand what you mean by one side being bigger than the other...but that tends to make me think it might actually be a mint error.

If it IS a mint error, it'll be worth a little bit to a collector...if there's a coin dealer in your city, you might want to take it by and let him have a look at it.  (He might also make you an offer for it.)

If it's a novelty coin...I've usually seen then sold for a dollar or two.

    Good luck!

  2. Dude, you got some **** there, don't give it to no body, and don't sell it to anyone till' you find out a real value, i had a double printed nickel once that went for $450 easy, it was really worth $700

  3. Quick!  Go get a coin book and look that up!  You may have a minted mistake that would be worth some money!  For real!  If you're not interested, email me and I'll give you an address and you can mail it to me.  I'll pay the postage!  No joke!

  4. Maybe it's counterfeit. Counterfeiter's sometimes make a lot of mistakes or it's for winning a coin toss.
