Today the mainstream belief is that all women face a double standard in the work and education system compared to men. The double standard for women in both of these categories exist in the notion that no matter how high a woman’s salary and education gets, compared to a man’s, would be considered lower.

yes men get paid more  than women but they deserve more because they do all the dangerous jobs like,construction,police,firefighter, electrictian and more.

so since men do all the dangerous jobs,they deserve more.

answer: yes.

edit: plenty of women make more money than i do, you don't see me crying about, no i just work harder at getting promoted and negotiating higher salary.

MEN ARE PAID MORE THAN WOMEN. Obviously there is a double standard.This is exploitation of women.

It seems that women have to prove themselves more.  A diploma and a big paycheck are not enough.  There's too much competition and we have to be taken seriously.

women do jobs such as firefighter, construction, etc, etc. and so what we should all get paid equally among each other- despite race, gender, etc.

Thats why we need to work for ourselves so we wont have to worry about people short changing us.
