Question:

Double bass drumming???

when keep doing RLRLRLRLRLRLRL with the double bass, at a point both kicks start to hit at the same time, so what should i do to stop that andkeep going with the RLRLRLRL?

Loosen the tension in the spring or somethig else?

please help!

  1. start slow. if its your bass peadals i gues sall you can do is get them fixed. if its you. just go slow. and work up to higher sppeds. it takse work


  2. It has nothing to do with the tension. If you have the correct double bass, it is already set.

    It is normal, that at a certain point, both feet will tend to act at the same time. You have to use each leg as if you are bicycle riding.

    Pratice makes perfect and always use a stronger accent on the beat of one of the foot.
