i was wondering if you can double breed a pokemon to learn moves. i want the murkrow to learn perish song and sky attack from an altaria. but i also wanted to teach murkrow drill peck.

is it possible after breeding perish song and sky attack onto a female murkrow to breed it with pokemon knowing drill peck and not lose the previously bred moves?

  1. You can breed any of the moves you want as long as the pokemon are compatable and the moves you want bred are on the male and the first three in the row. It's called chain breeding. But you have to make sure that the pokemon can learn the move you wish to pass on.

  3. Sorry to say, but Pokémon only inherit egg moves from the father, and not the mother. Murkrow cannot learn those three moves at once, only Sky Attack and Perish Song. Still, you must ask yourself if Murkrow is sturdy enough to use Perish Song and last a turn with Sky Attack. Judging from the base stats, Murkrow doesn't have much defenses to use those moves. Drill Peck would seem like the better option, at least, since it is a reliable STAB move.
