Double chraged??

My question is there was a robbery committed at my work I was asked for my where abouts for the time in question after that day I didn't hear anything for 3 weeks then I get a call to come down for more questioning when I get there he starts telling me I am a liar and I am goin to jail and he is gonna charge my husband with accesory after the fact ,You or your husband 1 did this but either way you are going to charged and going to jail once I have ALL the sworn affidavits against you signed, 3 more weeks passed and I get a call from the det. saying there's a warrant for my arrest to turn myself in. I then turn myself in and make bail ( 7000) Now my question is on the affidavit against me it states I commited Embezzlment but I was charged with Commercial Burglary.... Can I be charged later for the embezzelment?? I am seeing a laywer on Tues. but was just wondering if anyone could answer my question. Also if the person had to get a sworn affidavit does that mean they had nothing on me

The elements of burglary and embezzlement are different, so you can be charged with both.

Burglary requires an unauthorized presence in a building to commit a crime, embezzlement is a form of misappropration by fraud.

Additional charges can be brought at any time or existing charges could be changed or dropped.  Speak with your lawyer.
