My co-worker paid $4.00 for a doubles in city gate this morning - of course the usual line of doubles fan was empty!

(TS - my Rich Plain doubles man - Tony - need to speed up, last month I could have driven down curepe and be back before it was my turn!)

That is ridiculous! In St James they are $3.00.00 by most places. Still a far cry from the dollar I used to pay.

$4.00 is not too bad, I pay $1.25 US. for one, so if you compare it, $4 is a good price, I know it's a far cry from the $1 it was, but hey everything is going up.

Based on inflation at $5.00 today that would have been $0.33 in 1982. So you see that is still a deal today.
