Doubling the pages when printing

Question

My printer is HP color laserjet 2840.Then here is my problem with this printer, when ever i print any document it's double up the pages and stops after printing two or so copies then write a massage says unexpected number press enter to continue, Hei! its consuming too much time and also waisted the paper.I need the solution for this problem
