Question:

Doubts? El Salvador to USA?

My aunt recently applied for a visa to travel to the U.S. She wanted to travel because my grandmother just had an open heart surgery and well, we need someone watching her.. I will soon be back in college, my mother has already started to work again and well, we have no one else to take care of my grandmother.. The visa was denied. I wanted to know, if anyone knew or had any experience on this, why would they deny it, or what is their "rubric" for denial or acceptance?

Any information is thanked.

Thanks =]

  1. since your grand mother is not alone, you do not show proof of her needing help,you and your mother are there to help, even if you are going back to college and your mother is working.

    your aunt was refused the visa, because of not showing enough ties to her country, likelihood of overstaying in the US,

    the US has refused her a visa,by their own rules and law,

    and a visa? is a privilege and not a right,and the US consulate services, owes not an explanation for refusing a visa.

  2. Lack of proof to her ties to her country of residence.

    Ask her what the notation was written on her passport and what the consular officer said at her interview and that will detail the reason for her denial.

  3. It's normal that your aunt get denied visa entry u.s

    for your information el salvadorian migrants and their gangs activities   cost  u.s tax payers over a billion dollars in incarceration injured / death, medical, welfare and properties damaged every yrs.

    and that's suck ...!!

  4. Usually a person is denied when there is a high risk of overstaying the visa.  US law requires the US consular officer who interviewed your aunt to start from the premise that she intended to immigrate.  It's the up to your aunt to prove she won't.

    Proof is usually established by providing a letter from an employer stating that the applicant is on vacation or leave of absence and that the job will be there when the applicant returns, a house or apartment lease, home mortgage, copies of bank statements going back a year showing significant savings, etc...
