Australia’s speedster, Doug Bollinger, has admitted that his fitness might not be up to the Test standards but is confident that he will make it on the roster, when the Australian tourists take on the South African hosts in the opening match on November
9, 2011, at Cape Town.
Bollinger, who was also ruled out of the Australian Test squad, during the side’s recent triumphant assignment against the Sri Lankan hosts, has now once again come under doubts for his participation for the down under side.
However, the 30-year-old Aussie declines all such doubts over his participation after recently stating that he has been performing well for his national team, and will retain to do the same for his future appearances for the side.
“I’m going really well at the moment. I’m really fit and strong and bowling well so you can tell everyone, you can write that down,” said Bollinger.
“I don’t need to prove myself for anything, but I’ve just got to go out there and keep bowling well and keep doing what I have to do and I think the rest of it will just look after itself. I feel like I'm bowling well at the moment and that's all I can do,”
added the Aussie.
Bollinger also comprehended that it was nice to play under the Captaincy of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/MJ-Clarke-c1978, and with a handful of young lot of bowlers on the team, he aims at guiding them in the best possible manner he can.
