Doug Bollinger will have one game to prove Ashes fitness
Australian fast bowler Doug Bollinger will have one game before the first Ashes Test match to prove he's recovered sufficiently from an injury.

Bollinger suffered a stomach muscle strain during the first Test in the recent series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-South-Wales-c823 in a Sheffield Shield game
just a week away from the first Test match against England.
"On returning to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 [from India], he had scans that have cleared him of any significant muscle injury. As such he will commence bowling next week and is likely to be available for selection for
the Weet-Bix Sheffield Shield game for New South Wales against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Alex-Kountouris-c43123.
It is very dangerous for any Test match bowler to go into a Test series with very little match practice under his belt. Australia will be forced to sweat over Bollinger's possible replacement.
Lack of practice and fitness
A lack of match practice and fitness is dangerous because it will have an impact on the way Bollinger bowls. He will not be able to bowl long spells during the first Test match because he's been unable
to physically train since the first Test against India earlier in October.
Bollinger's pace is likely to be much slower than he would normally bowl. This is because he won't be able to put all of his effort into bowling as quickly as possible because of the risk in tearing the
same muscle.
Australia may be forced to look at a possible replacement for Bollinger who will be much less experienced. Ryan Harris is possible quicker than Bollinger but he has played the majority of his career for
Australia over the 50 over format of the game.
Betting advice
If Bollinger does play in the first Ashes Test match on 25 November then be a little wary of backing him to take five wickets during the game. One warm up game is not enough and even the travelling England
party will have more chances to play matches than Bollinger.
