Doug was a quarterback.  He played with my Buffalo Bills from 1998-2000 in addition to other teams as well.

Doug was a QB in the CFL and basically reinvented the league. He played for a couple of teams and won whatever the CFL championship trophy is a number of times.

Flutie was an outstanding quarterback at Boston College, and won the 1984 Heisman Tropy. He had a great arm, but stood just under 5'10", so he lacked the ideal size for an NFL quarterback, and after several seasons trying to make it in the league, he went to Canada where he was dominant, and I was happy for him.

Flutie returned to the NFL and played with the Bills, Chargers, and Patriots before retiring. It's good to see him working now as a college football analyst on ESPN.
