The Nerazzurri have had a tough time through the first 8 games of this season. Occupying 16th spot on the league table, the Italian giants are just one spot above the relegation zone with 8 points from 8 games.
However, the recently appointed tactician, Claudio Ranieri, and the squad are ready for a challenging season ahead and are looking forward to return to winning ways. The wingback, Maicon, was recently talking to the media and said that they are looking forward
to a tough home game against Juventus.
But the men in blue and blacks jerseys are keen to secure maximum three points from the fixture.
“It will be tough against Juventus. But we’ll do our best to get the three points in order to start closing the gap with the leaders,” said the Brazilian footballer.
Juventus are the current league leaders ahead of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Udinese-Calcio-c40789 after they beat Fiorentina 2-1 at home. On the other hand, Inter drew their last game against the newly promoted Atalanta 1-1. Inter were close to losing the match again in the ending minutes
of the game, but German Denis’ penalty was saved and parity was kept intact.
However, Maicon believes that the team performed well against the newly promoted outfit and they need to show consistency on the field.
“I'm happy with how we all played against Atalanta and we must keep it up,” the former Monaco man added.
“We played with our hearts and that's how we'll get Inter back up near the top of the table again. It's just a shame we only got a point today. We were having a great first half and then unfortunately they got a goal. But after the restart we responded well.
Now we must immediately turn our attention to Saturday and Juventus.”
