  1. Lead headline on the front page of today's Wall Street Journal (print edition) reads "Markets Slammed by Oil, Dollar".  Over 2 million people subscribe to the WSJ.  The drop in the DJIA is mentioned in the third sentence.  This development is also prominently covered on their website.

I always find more detailed economic information in publications focused specifically on this subject.

  2. Invest in Gold and Silver Bullion. The Dollar is dropping and the market is losing big. We need to protect ourselves with hard assets that hold value and can be traded in any country.

The news is being buried because they are too busy talking about Obama's fist bump with his wife and stupid stuff like that... The real news is only observed by people 'in the know' such as yourself - you can take advantage of it if you know how. That is how rich people do it.

  3. If it was buried it wasn't buried where I couldn't see it.

The Dow generally rebounds when it has a big drop.  We need to keep watching.

The reason it dropped was the big spike in oil prices.

  4. Yes absolutely it's burried, here's why.  Because the corporations...yes, the same corporations who own the Media (the big five multinational conglomorates that control 95 percent of the media; yes them)... ...

Let me start again.  It's because the newpapers and media outlets are owned by powerful Private corporations.

Now, consider the elections are coming up.  Almost all the time, if the economy is in good shape the encumbant party gets elected.  If its in bad shape, the opposition gets elected.

The corporations who own the media would rather see the republicans remain in office, simply because... yes, that's right...

So they hide the news that the economy is bad, tricking people into thinkingthe economy is good.

  5. Fortunately, manufacturing is staying strong. Thats the only thing holding us up at the moment. Obama, if he gets in, will force the Corps and small business out, then the sh*t will hit the fan.

It will be like 1929 Wall St. - only with no hope of recovery.

    McCain 08`!

  6. It was on the front page of my paper, above the fold. I'd say that ranks pretty highly.

I can't say that the rise in the price of oil has been undercovered this year.
