Dower Maid likely to be too good in Sunderland’s Owners Bonus Series Heat 1
Dower Maid has been performing consistently over the past few weeks and the time has come for the black b***h to prove her mettle at the big stage. She is all set to show her magic in the opening heat of Owners Bonus Series,
taking place at Sunderland on Friday, May 18th.
P. Miller’s trainee was a bit unlucky last time around. In a 450 metres Flat heat, the b***h missed the gold medal by one and a quarter lengths. She had every chance to grab the victory, but luck did not favour her that day.
Killahan Phanter’s daughter started off this month with a fantastic performance. On May 04, she beat Cleanaway Jade by a head’s distance to seize the top rank.
After two decent performances, the b***h is full of spirit and therefore, she has an obvious chance of nabbing the top position. The b***h is geared up to face five powerful runners including Bodell Royal, Jabba Power, Boutros,
Wynyard Joso and Urban Fox.
According to the plan, the 450 metres clash is set to begin at 21:48 GMT. The Grade A3 event holds a cash prize of £111, which will be given to the ultimate champion.
Bodell Royal is in our shortlist and should be there at the nitty gritty end. In both of his previous races, the black dog finished fifth on the table.
The hound got crowded at the first bend on both occasions and therefore, it was impossible for him to do anything good. P. Derwin’s trainee needs plenty of effort to get back to the winning ways.
Wynyard Joso’s confidence would have been dented by a couple of troubles runs last month. In his last outing, the black dog was runner-up behind Beannacht Girl.
Urban Fox is in poor form these days and does not have any chance what so ever. Boutros, who is coming from the lower grade, needs to defy the handicapper. However, it would not be an easy job for him.
Bodell Royal and Dower Maid have been rated joint favourites for today’s contest. The latter gets our vote, because she is in slightly better form. Good luck to everyone.
