Dowloading movies off of mininova?

Question

Ok so i download movies off of mininova.com,yes it is illegal.

but i was wondering if the cops got hold of the computer thats hosts the web site and got all the ip addresses if they can track you down to and exact address with your ip. Like I went to a web site that tells you where your ip is and mine was way off where I live but can they get hold of a more precise one? I know mininova says it is secure but I know it is not.

Download, install and run peer guardian 2 (its free)

Will block you ip address from being seen.

I never download without it running in the background...

anyone that is downloading or uploading the same time as you can see your ip address...ie some law official starts downloading the same thing as you, he then has your ip address...
