Down in class, Patterdale Cejay to repay the favour in Night Continues At Napoleons Casino at Sheffield
Things didn’t go to the plans for Patterdale Cejay in last few weeks. The black dog ran several fine races at the open level, but all in defeat. Seeing the situation, the connections have decided to bring him down to the A1 class, and he would be thankful
for this.
The Night Continues At Napoleons Casino, Tuesday’s A1 race at Sheffield, is an ideal event for Patterdale Cejay to repay the favour. There is nothing wrong with his present momentum, but he just needs an element of luck. Unfortunately, the G. Oswald-trained
got crowded on all his previous five outings.
So, a clear passage is the biggest requirement. The son of Westmead Hawk has the ability to travel well even in case of early mess. On his latest trip, he got crowded in the early stages, but ran well nevertheless. Lack of luck, however, make the situation
unfortunate, as he missed the gold medal only by a neck’s distance.
Among his rivals in today’s 500 metres contest are: Hather Sherlock, Donnas Caesar, Demesne Sparkles, Sharp Hawk and Farlow Holly. A cash prize of 160 pounds is reserved for the successful hound.
Farlow Holly, wearing red jacket, could spell danger for a few of the participants. The white and black b***h did well in the trials a few days ago, when her calculated time was 29.60 seconds.
Demesne Sparkles was really frustrating last time. The white and blue b***h needs to avoid mess in order to show her true skills. She often loses momentum because of getting crowded.
Donnas Caesar needs to take lead early in the race. Otherwise, his chances will be very slim. The fawn dog is stepping up in class, and will be under some pressure.
Hather Sherlock is a skilful hound, and cannot be ignored despite his current poor form. E. Parker’s charge was fourth on his latest trip. His chance looks fairly obvious to some experts, but we are not among those.
Sharp Hawk needs to come up with a clear run, but we don’t expect him to get one tonight. The blue and brindle dog will take some time to settle down at this level.
