Down to two names, which should I choose?

Question

OK, I'm very indecisive and for months I've been posting different names on this website and asking which I should choose. Well, my husband and I are headed to Honduras to adopt our baby girl in three months. I think we've finally narrowed it down to two names:

Rae Eabha

or

Logan Cadhla

Eabha is Gaelic and pronounced Ava, and Cadhla is also Gaelic and pronounced Kyla. Please tell me which name you like best and why.

P.S. I'm sure I'll get comments that Logan is a boys' name, but actually it's unisex and in Ireland there are more girls named Logan than boys. If you're still not convinced, look it up. Thanks for your help!

I will probably get several thumbs down but I like unisex names for girls.  I love the name Logan for a girl (and for a boy).  In fact, it was our boy name until my little sister claimed it for her son and since her fiances middle name is Logan I bowed out gracefully.  Anyhow, Logan Cadhla gets my vote.

Logan is more a boys name. It doesn't matter what a book says society think of it as a boy name. But if you live in Ireland i guess it is different. I never been there so i don't know.

Rae Eabha i just like it better.

i think Kyla and all other names such as Kayla  or Mykayla are just trendy,misspelled and too common,in my opinion.

i really do not care for Logan as i prefer it as a sur name.

Rae Eabha is beautiful and uncommon. I have a friend who's baby girls name is Logan but I do not care for it as much. Good luck and congratulations, what a wonderful thing you are doing!

Logan Cadhla ---and yes I do know of a Logan thats a girl and she happens to be very sweet girl.

If you're set on these 2 I'd go for the second one. I like unisex names, and I guess ina  few years there will be as many girl Logans as boys. I love the name Kyla, but people will never get Cadhla as Kyla. Most people will call her Logan Kadla.

I am actually Irish and I live in Ireland aso I can tell you that Logan is only ever a surname.

NEVER a first name for a boy or a girl.

I dont need to look anything up to know my own country.

Eábha is a beautliful name though just dont forget the fada.

Eábha is pronounced ava.

Eabha is pronounced eva.

Cadhla is also only a surname. Its Irish for Kiely. I know plenty of O'Cadla's

think of how the names will affect the kid and what are friends going to call her ?

ie,  do  not put her in an embarassing position just because  you like a unique  name  ! point is .will she like it too ?

I love love love Logan!! I think Eabha Rae would flow better, and I prefer the Irish spelling of Aeofa.

I like Logan! I actually think it is a much better girls name. I think it has a lot of femenism to it. I like it because I don't think Rae and Eabha sound good together.

Both names are great.  I think Logan Cadhla sounds almost melodic yet strong. I prefer that one.

Rae and Eabha are too similar in sound for my taste.
