Downgrade from Vista to XP Pro? cant find drivers.

I have a HP pavilion DV2945SE running Vista Ultimate 64bit. I want to downgrade to XP Pro 64bit, but cant find drivers. Where can i find drivers?

  1. Most of those Vista drivers will work fine on XP Pro. But, if you use it with the right tweaks (like disabling UAC, etc.), it's a better OS than XP, especially the Buggy XP 64-bit editions. Vista has come a long way for 64-bit versions.


  2. Companys like HP make it almost impossible to downgrade from Vista to XP from their machines, besides Vista is a great operating system try it out and see if you like it before trying to downgrade.

  3. 98% of Vista x64 drivers can be used in XP x64. The only ones you need to watch for are the video drivers. Those you should be able to get from the video chipset manufacturer (NVIDIA, ATI, Intel?, etc...).
