Downgrade/jailbreak iPod touch 1.1.5?

Question

I have an 8Gb iPod touch firmware 1.1.5, and I want to jailbreak it, but first i want to know if it is possible to downgrade it to version 1.1.4 before jailbreaking it.

It is possible to downgrade your iPod, BUT, just like the user above me said, you need to have the 1.1.4 firmware in order to do so.  Unfortunately, Apple does not allow you to downgrade your software, so once you installed 1.1.5, Apple won't let you uptain 1.1.4

yes you can downgrade to 1.1.4 but you must have the 1.1.4 firmware saved on your computer. then all you do is restore your ipod by pressing the shift key on the keyboard and then clicking restore button in itunes. then all you do is look for the 1.1.4 and let itunes do its thing.
