Downgrade to XP Toshiba L305

Question

Pls help me to find SATA drives to be integrated on XP Installation CD.I already formatted Hard disk by changing the SATA to "Compatible". But the embedded Ethernet is now lost (impossible to install because of the BIOS don't use the SATA mode)If I change to SATA mode, then I can't boot.Thanks for your help and time,Hugo
