Download for sony cybershot dsc-s600 camera?

I've borowed my dads camera yet he couldn't find the disk for the computer, he never seems t need it as his compute recognisesthe camera straight away-yet my computer (windows vista-basic) doesn't do anyhing when I plug itinto the usb cable. I've tried downloadingthe picture motion browser from the sony site but no joy yet as I seem to need the origional??? Anybody else had this rob or know how I can solve this-it's driving me nuts!!!

You can buy a card reader for about 15 quid on the high street and you can use this to transfer pictures.

Download  >> Run the USBDREV.EXE >>

Then  Run SETUP.EXE  

Once installed  Restart PC

Nice camera I had one for a year, has a good 31mm wide-angle lens.
