Download links for DOS?

If I were to create a site that provides links for downloads to MS-DOS games that are hosted on the site, is it perfectly legit, and allowed to do so?

Are those games pirated? or in any way violating copyright?

Otherwise, I would think its fine, specially since you would be promoting and giving those games free advertising.

If your going to upload a torrent, then its most likely a copyright violation (unless its freeware) and you could get in trouble, although in reality since theres so many people they probably wont ever come after you. If you still want to make your site, make it on a free domain, and avoid using your real info.
