Downloaded ebook help

Question

I go to click on the downloaded file and its a PDF file and when you open it with notepad or wordpad it just comes up in a load of gibberish.

So basically what can i do to make it readable?

download and install Adobe acrobat reader.

or look for another free pdf reader on the internet!

PS: stop loading every downloaded file with note/wordpad! it's useless and sometimes destructive...
