i need to close firefox. So I close and retry but same stupid error.

Anyone know how to get thru this?

Also, as an aside --dont you think this is completely lame that something as pervasive as firefox has such a mind numbing issue, right when u start trying to use it?

  1. Don't use the automatic plugin, they're a pain in the ****.

Download the manual plugin, shut down firefox (including the download manager) and run the .exe file you downloaded.

    That should solve it.

And yes, the error is pissy and irritating! But h**l, auto plugins don't really work for any browsers.

  2. Download it straight from the site, that should clear up everything.

You tube may need flash too. Here is that link if you wish

  4. This is something wrong with your computer's set-up. Not Firefox's fault -- and besides, the people who coded Firefox did it for FREE. Firefox is an entirely voluntary project. Give them some credit.

Try downloading the standalone .exe file from here:

    http://www.filehippo.com/download_shockw...

    Close firefox while installing it.

    Run it and restart firefox.

  5. Try Restarting Your Computer
