Downloaded songs on ipod touch?

now, i want to plug into my laptop..will i lose all the songs that are on my ipod and not on my laptop or what?

no when you plug your ipod into your computer it will move the songs you've downloaded onto your computer then you can use those song just like if you had bought them on your computer
