Downloading Iphone apps ..?

Question

So I just got this phone [my dad gave it to me]

& when i try to install an app, it asks for account/username & password..

I dont think I have one ?? So how do I make one ??

Or might my dad have made one for me when he bought the phone ..

I would ask your dad if you have an account. THe account is used to register your phone through iTunes and allows you to buy apps/music/etc. But you need to have an account to get free apps too. If you have music on your iPhone, then i thnk that means you already have an account, but id check with your dad. If you dont have one, just go on itunes and go to the itunes store and you should be able to make an account there

you have to make an itunes account. go to your itunes and say you want to buy music and just create a new account
