Downloading a computer game?

Far Cry ubisofts amazing first person shooter was released on freeware i am currently downloading it but i exited out of the screen that showed the progress of the download since i exited out of it does that mean i cancelled the download and i have to start again? or will it continue to download and alert me when it is completed? and if it is still downloading how do i check the progress? ten points to best thank you very much

First of all, if it's on Internet Explorer then you have to re-download the file.  If you have Mozilla Firefox, then you can press Ctrl-J to open the download window, which shows your download progress.
