Downloading internet radio in HQ?

Question

What are some simple ways I can download internet radio (while streaming or not) into MP3 files on my computer in high quality? Generally programs like Audicity don't provide very good quality as it records from the speakers and picks up any other background noise etc. Any software that I can use that doesn't do this? I don't want anything too complicated or something that will take up a lot of space on my computer as I only plan to use it for an English project. I'd also prefer if I didn't have to pay for it!

Maybe this is too hopeful but if anyone has any ideas then I'd be really greatful! Thanks.

Try Podcasts from iTunes, they're free and have good quality and pictures too. (samples: Tiesto's Club Life, A State of Trance, etc)
