Downloading music. ok...i have a problem. I have vista and of course i know vista sucks...but

ok...i have a problem. I have vista and of course i know vista sucks...but still i plug my delstar in and all i get is...well nothing but my media player cant find the portable device or sync it. Any suggestions?
