Downy hair on my face?

Question

I'm 17 and I have little fluffy downy hair on my face (hardly visible but quite long) but if I shaved it off comletely, would it grow thicker and darker? And if i did would it eventually grow like urr..a full beard?? :S

DO NOT SHAVE IT!!!! I MADE THAT MISTAKE AND NOW I HAVE TO SHAVE IT EERVERY 2 DAYS OR I LOOK LIKE A MAN!!! ANd it started out as very pleasant peach fuzz. DONT SHAVE OR WAX IT JUST DONT. You'll get used to it.

It wouldn't be a full on beard that would be freaky but it will grow back thicker and darker
