Dowomen in Italy live differently from the ones in the US?

I wanted to write a story about a woman who is from Italy but moves to the US. Is life there any different then it is here? Do women have the freedom they do here?

Italian women have maternity leave that can last for 6 to 18 months... and will not loose their jobs!!!

women in italy are awesome and really put american girls to shame...forget the no shaving bit...that was like 25 yrs ago...they are well groomed, dress in the most s**y and stylish "but tasteful" manner...they actually still hold some respect for their men...

so many of them are slim and take care of themselves...they tend to be much more family oriented.  and they know how to flirt and be s**y-without being s***s

Yupp, woman have freedom there as well....and they are alot tougher over there.
