Doyou shower when its lighting??

Question

I was just in the shower and it started to storm really bad and I freaked and jumped out with soap on my body and shampoo in my hair! What are the chances of getting hit by lighting while in the shower? Does lighting actually hit the water? Or the house? Anyway Are you scarred to shower in a storm?

nope.  no way.   i hardley sit on the toilet when it's lightning.   I also don't wash clothes in the washing machine...so no i would not shower or bathe during a lightning or thunderstorm.  no way!

first of all you never take a shower when theres a storm. and heck, yeah im scared of taking a shower when theres lightning. The electricity will travelm it might not hit your house but it might hit near a water pipe and electrify you.

I always heard it was wrong but I have done it cuz uh.... I"m not sleepin wit my balls all musty...YEAH I was scarred out of my mind but....yeah I did it IMMA G!! lol

I never take showers during electrical storms and neither should anyone else. Water is one of many conductors of electric current. If lightning were to strike nearby, it would makes it way to someone if they were in the shower. There are plenty of metal pipes around for electric current to travel through.

Nope, unless I desperately need to, even though I shouldn't. I did once and I was in and out in 3 minutes, shortest shower I've ever taken, lol =]
