Doyouwannalift expected to win Wednesday’s A2 400m Flat
Doyouwannalift has always proved his skills on big occasions. His record in A2 format is pleasant enough. During the last three months, he delivered some extra-ordinary performances. All these factors combine to make the D. Mullins trained black dog a strong
candidate for tonight’s A2 400m Flat that will be run at Romford racecourse.
Much to the dismay of the punters who have overlooked him, the two-year-old veteran hound will trigger a huge upset in the race. This claim is backed by his impressive track record.
The dashing dog has been running constantly since debuting in February 2012. He has a number of starts to his credit.
In the month of June, he elegantly won two A2 races in a row. On the first occasion, he beat the hot favourite candidate Front Stage by a neck’s margin. Being the best-prized candidate, he sealed the second success by the margin of 1¼. That was an outstanding
feat.
The skilled sprinter moved on to finish 3rd in the July Dash that was held at Henlow. He reaped the same in the subsequent A1 race.
The talented son of Killahan Phanter out of Cherryhill Biddy bagged his maiden OR victory on July 15. That was the Coral Hove Maiden Sprint. Despite being an underdog, he fought well and finished by a neck’s margin.
That classic conquest was followed by two consecutive runner-up positions. Thus, Doyouwannalift has proved his skills well. For this reason, he seems to be a reliable runner ahead of tonight’s marathon.
Despite the fact that the young hound is carrying great form, he will have to bear the wrath of Dinner Toumazi who is going to run with the favourite tag.
The J. Reynolds trained blue dog too debuted in February, but he has run just a few races so far.
After breaking his maiden with the 8¾-length clean victory on March 7, the novice runner nicely won a T2 race by the margin of 2 lengths on August 21.
Thus, we shall witness a rip-roaring battle in the race. Let us see how Doyouwannalift manages to defend himself against this mighty rival. Good luck to him.
