Doyouwannalift likely to sway things in his favour - A1 400m Flat at Romford
Despite a couple of unlucky outings lately, Doyouwannalift looks determined to turn things in his favour in a 400 metres flat heat at Romford on Monday, May 7th.
In both of his previous races, the black dog narrowly missed the gold medal. On April 25, he fell short by a short head’s distance. Luck stayed away from him in the following sprint, as he finished second by a neck’s distance.
Things are not going according to the plans for D. Mullins’ trainee, but his class is hard to overlook at this level. He needs just an extra effort to break the shackles and bag the winning cheque worth £135.
The Grade A1 meeting is due to get started at 21:02 GMT. Among the entries are: Doyouwannalift, Blonde Spot, Blackstone Tommy, Zenyatta, Lughill Simon and Regal Ransom.
Blonde Spot is in superb form at the moment. The brindle dog impressed everyone with two back to back wins at the end of March.
After a couple of brilliant performances, he ran with an aim to complete his hat-trick, but failed to do so. On the ninth of April, J. Reynolds’ trainee missed the top spot by one and a quarter lengths.
Zenyatta’s chances are decent despite the fact that she is in poor form these days. In her last appearance at Romford, the black and white b***h could only beat the back marker in a similar race.
Regal Ransom does not have bright chances against this line-up. The black dog performed poorly last month. So, he needs plenty of effort to regain his winning momentum.
Blackstone Tommy ended up third in a similar race at the start of this month. Let’s see whether he manages to improve his work. According to our calculations, Lughill Simon has no chance what so ever.
Everything looks in favour of Doyouwannalift. However, he will have to do something different in order to add the winning touch this time around. The in-form hound, Blonde Spot, will be a huge obstacle in his way to the glory.
We wish the best of luck to everyone.
