Dp you think you can get to the intermediate level in japanese in three weeks?

  1. That is one of those taped methods, isn't it?  Usually you can get through their tapes pretty quickly, and would be able to move on to a tape they would call intermediate, but that doesn't mean that you would be at the intermediate level if you were taking courses in school.

I too have studied with Pimsleur, and for what it is worth, I approve that software (mine is on my computer) but "nothing" replaces a native speaker.  What you as an individual can learn is subjective and unable to determine in this forum, but my personal opinion, a humble one, is that three weeks is really not long enough time to be proficient in Japanese, or reach an intermediate level.  You may be able to do it, I can't say, but for the average person, I would say, no.

  3. i'm studying at university lever for 2 years and i'm still pre-itermediate and i study my *** off.  so i guess that would be a no. sorry
