  1. Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar (April 14, 1891 — December 6, 1956) was an Indian jurist, scholar, Bahujan political leader and a Buddhist revivalist, who is the chief architect of the Indian Constitution. Born into a poor Untouchable community, Ambedkar spent his life fighting against the system of untouchability and the Indian caste system. He is also credited for having sparked the Dalit Buddhist movement. Ambedkar has been honoured with the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award, given for the highest degree of national service.

  3. everybody knows that great person..

wat do u want us to say??

  4. He is the man championed as the leader of the dalits, the oppressed class of Indian society. ( Called the harijans or people of God by Gandhiji ).

Himself a dalit, he championed the cause of the dalits and is considered the father of the Constitution of India. ( I think)

He fought against the society's prejudices and for poliical representation of dalits in politics.

He believed that the dalits could only be raised by getting a political voice.

I don't know when he was born or when he died, but he was fighting for all this before India's Independance  (1947).
